Welcome to Therapeutic BodyWorks and Fred4Paws!
A wide range of massage services are provided for our human and canine friends. I am excited to show you the wonders of massage therapy and what it can do for your mental, physical and spiritual health.
Therapeutic Massage
Each person is unique and looking to achieve different results from massage therapy.
Canine Massage
Animals are open-minded to new experiences, and most are very happy to receive their treatments.
Massage No Longer a Luxury but Integral to Your Health and Well-Being
Many clients have come to Therapeutic BodyWorks after living in pain and discomfort, believing that medication or surgery is their only option. Some have even given up doing the things they love because of the distress they are in. Life is too short to feel this way - and it doesn’t have to be this way!
A growing body of research supports massage therapy and its role in health and wellness for both humans and pets. Rather than being a luxury that is only offered in high-end spas and health clubs, massage is now accepted as an alternative modality that is effective at reducing muscle tension, stress and pain.
Studies have also shown that massage therapy is helpful in reducing:
- Anxiety
- Fibromyalgia
- Digestive disorders
- Headaches
- Sports injuries
- Insomnia
- Myofascial pain syndrome
- Soft tissue injuries
- Temporomandibular joint pain (TMJ)

Massages Customized to Your Needs and Level of Comfort
When you step into Therapeutic BodyWorks or Fred4Paws, I encourage you to let go of the daily stress that consumes your mental and physical energy. My environment is a place of healing and strength. Sessions are done in a quiet, restful room with aromatherapy and the gentle sounds of nature.
All services are intended to improve your or your pet’s health and wellness both today and in the future. Massage is not limited to relaxation in the moment. Done right, it can be effective at delivering long-term relief and the energy and mobility to do the activities you love. When you’re not suffering in pain and discomfort - anything is possible!
Certified Massage Therapist with 20+ Years of Experience
My name is Denise Harris-Frazier, owner and therapist of Therapeutic BodyWorks and Fred4Paws. Nothing is more important than delivering a safe, comfortable and therapeutic massage for all clients. With a medical background and experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (Arapahoe Community College), I understand how massage can assist with certain medical conditions, such as cancer, heart problems and lung and vascular diseases.
I hold certification in massage therapy from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado and have been running my own practice in Douglas County since 1994. I am also certified in Canine Sports Massage, Canine Therapeutic Massage and Senior Canine Massage from Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage.
I have completed Canine Craniosacral Therapy Level 1 and am a member of the American Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork/Association of Canine Water Therapy (IAAMB/ACWT).
Through my 20+ years of experience, I have worked with a wide range of human clients, including athletes and those living with chronic illnesses and injuries. My canine clients receive the same attention - probably even more!
